What a scan and a report look like

Both samples are for Sample Widgets Ltd (sample-widgets.example), a made-up company. No real site was scanned. We ran made-up pages through the same scan and report code that runs on your site, so the wording below is what you would get.

Sample: a scan with findings

The full report (€499) covers every finding, each with a ready-to-paste fix. A scan can only see what is on the page, so findings are worded as conditions that apply if the AI use or content type is what we think it is. The last section, “What this scan covered”, shows what the scan checked and what it couldn't, with sample answers to the optional declarations questionnaire. This is the report as it is delivered, as a PDF.

Sample: a scan with no findings

This is the on-page result of the free scan when it finds nothing, including the evidence it saw.

No obvious Article 50 issues found

This scan checks a limited set of common transparency gaps — chat widgets, voice agents and AI avatars from known vendors with no AI disclosure, undisclosed AI-generated content, images whose own file marker says AI-generated with no label on the page, and, where a disclosure is found, how clearly it is presented. A clean result is not a compliance clearance, and this is not legal advice.

AI disclosure found in your chat widget: “AI assistant”

How it is presented, as measured on the page:

  • Visibility: visible (14px text)
  • Readability: contrast 16.2:1 against the 4.5:1 benchmark (text #202020 on #ffffff), font size 14px
  • Assistive technology: no aria-hidden, inert or hidden attribute, and rendered
  • Language: couldn't determine: the language of the matched text “AI assistant” is unclear (too short or mixed), so it can't be compared with lang="en"

Contrast is shown against 4.5:1, a common technical benchmark, not a legal threshold.
