Article 50 of the EU AI Act has applied since 2 August 2026. It says businesses must tell people when they're dealing with AI. Many tools for this ask you to describe your setup in a form and base their report on your answers. That only knows what you tell it.
Article50.io loads your actual site and checks what's there: the chat widgets that load, the disclosure text visitors see, and whether markers exist on AI-generated content. You get the result in minutes, with the article behind each finding and wording you can paste in.
I built Article50.io because getting an answer on Article 50 shouldn't take weeks of back-and-forth. The usual routes involve consultants, long questionnaires and reports full of jargon, and you're left wondering what to actually do. I wanted something simpler: scan your site, see what's there, and get a clear plan to fix it. No confusion, and a way to move forward.
It's an automated technical check, not legal advice. A clean result isn't a compliance clearance, and every report says so. If you need a legal opinion, speak to a qualified lawyer.
