# Article50.io > Article50.io is an automated scanner for the Article 50 transparency rules of the EU AI Act. It scans a website for potential Article 50 transparency gaps and generates a report of what the scan found and what it could not check, with remediation guidance, implementation instructions and disclosure wording you can paste in. Article50.io helps organizations identify potential Article 50 transparency obligations under the EU AI Act. The scanner runs automated checks on a website's public pages and generates a report of what the scan found and what it could not check, including identified transparency issues, explanations, remediation recommendations, implementation guidance and copy-and-paste disclosure wording. Reports are generated automatically and are typically delivered within minutes. Monitoring tools tell you what's wrong. Article50.io tells you how to fix it: every finding in the scan report comes with ready-to-paste fix wording and implementation steps, for a one-time price with no subscription. A clean result is not a compliance clearance, and this is not legal advice. ## Using Article50.io - [Free scan (homepage)](https://article50.io/#scan): enter a website address; the scan loads one public page in a real browser and shows the single most severe finding in 45 seconds or less. No signup. On browsers with WebMCP, the scan form is also exposed to agents as the tool `scan_website` (input: the page address; output: the same result the page shows). - [How the scan works](https://article50.io/how-the-scan-works): what the scan checks, what it can't see from a public page, and how findings are worded. - [Sample report](https://article50.io/sample-report): a sample scan result and a sample paid scan report for a fictional company, generated by the same code. - Pricing: the free scan costs nothing; the full scan report is a one-time purchase of €499 (EUR) covering every finding, each with a ready-to-paste fix, plus one free recheck within 30 days. No subscription and no account. - [Terms of Service](https://article50.io/terms): payment, the not-legal-advice terms, accuracy limits and acceptable use. - [Article50ResearchBot](https://article50.io/research-bot): the research crawler behind our studies, its robots.txt rules and how to opt out. ## Article 50 guides - [Article 50 of the EU AI Act — Full Transparency Requirements Explained](https://article50.io/article-50-eu-ai-act): what Article 50(1), 50(2) and 50(4) require, who they apply to, enforcement since August 2, 2026, and penalties up to €15M or 3% of global turnover. - [Article 50 Compliance Checklist](https://article50.io/article-50-compliance-checklist): what a website needs to disclose — AI chat interaction, synthetic content marking, deep fakes and AI-generated public-interest text. - [EU AI Act Transparency Obligations Under Article 50](https://article50.io/article-50-transparency-obligations): providers vs. deployers, and how Article 50 differs from high-risk obligations. - [Does Your Chatbot Need an AI Disclosure? No site is named; home pages only, chat not opened; not legal advice. ## Article 50 questions - [Does my chatbot need to say it is an AI under the EU AI Act?](https://article50.io/does-my-chatbot-need-an-ai-disclosure): yes, in most cases — Article 50(1) and 50(5) require a clear notice at the first interaction unless it is obvious.
